Dr. Marissa Obiedzinski
Dr. Marissa Obiedzinski is a skilled general dentist with experience in many phases of dentistry, including periodontics, operative, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and more. This allows patients to see her for comprehensive treatment planning with one doctor in an organized and efficient setting.
Dr. Obiedzinski understands that dentistry can be a stressful experience, so she focuses on building positive rapport with her patients by fully explaining everything she does and the reasoning behind it. She keeps her patients informed during each step of the dental process, making each visit as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Obiedzinski began her involvement in dentistry in high school, where she worked as a dental assistant. She completed her undergraduate degree in chemical biology at Stevens Institute of Technology before beginning dental training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She then finished her residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, where she spent a year focusing on each phase of dentistry with specialists in the field. She also has experience working in the emergency room, making her comfortable in treating patients needing emergency treatment.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Obiedzinski enjoys running and recently completed her first half marathon. She also loves reading, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Samantha Philip brings a compassionate, steady presence to each appointment. She trained at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital – Queens, where she gained deep experience treating a wide range of dental conditions and patient needs. Dr. Brad Bailey
Dr. Brad Bailey brings a straightforward, patient-focused approach to dentistry, helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the chair. He earned his DDS from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in both restorative and preventative care. Dr. Karen Chileuitt
With a calm demeanor and clinical depth, Dr. Karen Chileuitt delivers dental care that’s as thoughtful as it is thorough. She earned her DMD from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and completed her residency at One Brooklyn Health, where she treated a wide range of patient needs. Great experience getting a tooth filling redone in my first visit. Both the doctor and dental hygienist were super friendly and made the procedure quick and easy. Although my insurance is paying for most of the treatment, I really appreciate how upfront and straightforward they are about the cost of the treatment.

I give my experience with tend a 10 out of 10. From walking into a beautiful inviting space and getting useful welcome gift, to staff and practitioners using your preferred name, it immediately sets you at ease. I especially loved walking into the hygienist suite where the TV monitor showed my message “Hello Manna, we’ve prepared this suite just for you.“ Each person I encountered was kind and attentive to comfort needs. They thoroughly explained each step of the process for examining my teeth then the doctor’s consultation followed by the cleaning. I am so glad that my insurance plan is in network with Tend because there isn’t another place. I’d trust with my dental health.

I’ve been going to Tend for about a year now, they’re absolutely wonderful. There’s never any wait, they take you right at your appointment time. My hygienist was Christine and she was amazing. She educated me on some things, was very friendly, very gentle with the cleaning because I have very sensitive teeth. They never push anything on you and they’re very thorough with their cleanings. It’s also a very clean environment which you definitely want! I’d highly recommend!

Just finished having major work done. Incredible job by Dr Kim and the Tend-Ballston staff. They addressed dental problems I had ignored for a decade. I had 3 crowns installed on the left and a major bridge on the right. No pain, a great outcome, and all done in 2 visits. I highly recommend Tend and Dr Kim. It’s how dentistry should be in the 21st century.
I recently had an outstanding experience at Tend! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. Dr Ayaz was fantastic! He took the time to explain every step of the process, making sure I felt comfortable and informed about my treatment. The dental hygienist Alex was also wonderful, gentle yet thorough. He provided excellent tips for maintaining my oral health. Genesis was also very pleasant and made sure I was comfortable throughout my X-Rays. The entire visit was not only efficient but also pleasant, which is a rarity when it comes to dental appointments. Highly recommend Tend to anyone looking for a top-notch dental experience.

I took my mother to this medical practice today, which was a refreshing change from our previous experiences. My mother, who doesn't speak English, often found it challenging to communicate at other clinics. However, this practice stood out by offering interpreter services, a feature we hadn't encountered elsewhere. This was a significant positive aspect for us. Additionally, I want to extend special thanks to the store manager, Leslie, and our hygienist Edith for her exceptional assistance throughout our visit.
I enjoyed my visit at Tend today. The facility was nicely designed and the staff were friendly. I was impressed with my care and the information I was given and how timely my service was. I’d definitely recommend Tend to everyone if you are within network with your insurance!
Thank goodness for Milana @ Wall St location. The Dentist is not my favorite place and my anxiety is pretty high each time I visit but Milana’s energy was very calming upon arrival. By far the best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone was friendly. The location was very clean. The staff was very informative and was able to answer any questions I had. The only issue I had was that it took an abnormally long time to verify my insurance coverage.
After trying out so many dentists in NYC, I'm so glad I found Tend. [The dentist] and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and take their time to put you at ease.
My hygienist...was sooooo awesome and sweet! Loved the attention and care that went into this visit. She was very attentive to my concerns and eased any anxiety I had!

I had a great experience! I Came here for a cleaning/ general checkup. Doctor was very thorough and went through X-rays with me and answered all my questions. And the hygienist i had did an excellent job. He was super thoughtful and left my teeth sparkly clean without hurting me. And the office itself is adorable, it’s very clean and well decorated. Overall it was a great experience and I will be returning!
I’ve visited several Tend dental offices in both NYC and Boston, but the Kendall Square location is hands down one of my favorites. I always get a bit anxious about dental visits, but the moment I walked in, the team made me feel so welcome! Kimberly Nguyen, the hygienist who took care of me, was incredibly thorough in explaining what needed to be done, yet still so kind and patient. She really helped ease my nerves. Highly recommend this location. 10/10!
Dr. Lina is awesome. She is very professional, kind and does beautiful work (I needed to have a crown replaced because of a cavity that had formed underneath). She tells you everything she is doing every step of the way and continually checks that you are okay. She has the loveliest, calmest bedside manner (a great dentist for all, but would be especially good for those who are very anxious about going to the dentist). Really I can't say enough good things about her, she is terrific. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have all been lovely as well, very kind and helpful, and the cleanings I have had have been really thorough. Overall a great experience!

My appointment started on time at 7am in a relaxing office setting. My hygienist was super thorough as was my dentist who took time to explain findings and patient to answer all my questions. Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
