It’s located just steps away from the 7 train and a few blocks from the G at 21st Street. Street parking is also available. Really positive experience. Beautiful aesthetically. Every detail was thought through. Got an appointment next day. Zero wait time. The staff and drs were thorough and very kind and put me at ease even though I was very nervous! They were transparent about billing, my insurance covered the visit, no weird bills later on. This was my first time at Tend, and I loved it! The entire process to book an appointment was super easy and seamless. They took my insurance and the entire visit was covered. The office was very clean, modern and nice! Said they’ve only been open in that location about 6 months. My dental hygienist Emily was very sweet and walked me through everything she was doing. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, a class act! II thought it was going to be really expensive and someone hovering over me just ringing up the cash register. This was not the case. If you don't need it, they won't push it on you, however, they give you the option and pricing up front.
I went to tend for a cleaning for the first time recently and they did an excellent job. My hygienist, Gabby, was very friendly and accommodating. She was very gentle with my teeth and made sure to check in throughout the cleaning to see if I was experiencing any sensitivity or pain. They also handled my insurance very well and informed me of the cost breakdown ahead of time. Overall I am very happy with the service I received and the price that I paid
Have been seeing Dr Payriani for years. And he is lovely. Overall I’ve been to many tend locations. Always great service and easy to get into and schedule with. The shift lead took the time to help with a billing issue today and was very kind and thoughtful!
Tend dental is a spa for your teeth. I visited two days in a row this week and both times, the staff were welcoming, professional, and efficient. Every time I visit tend, I never have to wait, the staff is always on time. The entertainment system is so great, I have to remind myself I am in the chair for a procedure, not just to be entertained. For my 2nd visit, the email said the procedure would take 50 minutes, and that is exactly how long it took. Tend is truly the best dental office I have ever been to.
I can't express how grateful I am to Tend Dentistry in Chelsea. After my son accidentally lost his two front teeth, the emergency room was of no help, and a specialist within the hospital network had inconvenient hours. In my desperation, I turned to Grok2, which led me to Tend Dentistry. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly reassuring. Jaida W., the shift leader, was fantastic - she was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about insurance procedures, which made the whole process much less stressful. One of the best experiences I’ve had since my childhood dentist. I hat a kind and loving staff all the way through !! The front desk is very welcoming, the Hygenist is so attentive and the Dentist is very informative and answers all questions. The televisions on the ceiling and offering moisturizer for the lips are such a nice nod to the care and comfort of the patients. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Kind, knowledgeable and thorough staff and providers. Billing was discussed with me multiple times prior to the start of my exam. I had my second visit at this location and with tend in general, and I have been quite pleased with my care and the transparency I have experienced.
Such a great place to go to the dentist. The setup is gorgeous and bright. Everyone is super nice. And I thought having nextflix on was a gimmick but they have a tv on the ceiling for you to watch along with sanitized headphones. Helped make the time pass quickly. Very glad this was so convenient to my apt.

The staff and dentists at Tend are wonderful! When I had a dental emergency, they were there to get me fixed up- even on the snow day! And they have been excellent for regular cleanings too! The dental hygienist give so much great education and work extremely hard to keep my teeth clean.
I took my mother to this medical practice today, which was a refreshing change from our previous experiences. My mother, who doesn't speak English, often found it challenging to communicate at other clinics. However, this practice stood out by offering interpreter services, a feature we hadn't encountered elsewhere. This was a significant positive aspect for us. Additionally, I want to extend special thanks to the store manager, Leslie, and our hygienist Edith for her exceptional assistance throughout our visit.
The entire team was amazing, but my hygienist, Jose Contreras, was particularly incredible. As someone with pretty severe dental anxiety, he went above and beyond to soothe any concerns I had, and had a great personality and sense of humor, too. - Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
