Just left my first visit at Tend Cobble Hill, I was super nervous because who likes to go to the dentist 😩. I was greeted by Ruthie who took care of me. She was so professional, kind and patient. She took her time and explained every step of every procedure. She truly made an incredible difference for me and made my visit relaxed and comfortable. Thank you so much Ruthie, your kindness made me excited and looking forward to my next appointment with you!

I had a great experience here. Clean, modern office. Nice hygienist and dentist. Straightforward billing and no shadiness. Considering I hadn't been to the dentist in years because of a traumatic and shady experience at a dentist in Manhattan some time ago, this was such a nice change. Highly recommend! The app is super convenient, too.

What a wonderful dental experience !! The flexibility of being able to have an early morning appointment comes in handy for people with busy schedules. My appointment started on time at 7am in a relaxing office setting. My hygienist was super thorough as was my dentist who took time to explain findings and patient to answer all my questions. What a great way to start my day. Thank you

Not everything qualifies as a dental emergency. Some issues, like a chipped tooth without pain or blood, may seem like a dental emergency but do not necessarily require same-day urgent care. Depending on your issue, you may be able to wait a few days before seeing a dentist. However, for other issues like a broken or lost tooth, you should seek out emergency care.

The best way to tell if you require emergency dental care is to call our office.

Some issues don't require urgent care. However, if you call our emergency dental hotline and we do recommend care, it is best to schedule a visit as soon as possible.

Avoiding emergency dental care for some issues may result in further deterioration of your condition and even tooth loss. In some cases, infections may spread to other parts of the body which can even result in hospitalization.

Our team of dentists and oral surgeons are prepared for almost any dental emergency. We cover things like tooth pain, toothaches, chipped tooth, broken tooth, knocked out tooth, extractions, implants, crowns, cavities, loose fillings, and more!

Don't see your dental issue in this list? Call our office and we'll be happy to chat about your needs.

There are many different causes of tooth pain. Depending on the cause, you may require immediate emergency care.

Some toothaches are caused by what is called an abscess. An abscess is an infection of the tooth resulting in pus either at the gums or base of the tooth. Abscesses can result in severe tooth pain which may even radiate to the ear and neck. With the case of an abscess, you will require emergency dental care. Failing to seek out urgent care can result in infection spread and fever. To treat an abscess, a dentist would drain the site of infection and prescribe antibiotics.

Some toothaches are caused by cracked teeth. Cracked teeth can appear as hairline cracks. Without attention, cracked teeth can progress into larger cracks which may result in potential tooth loss.
